Scenarios & Challenges

New Features

  • Start scenarios: New Game now opens with a choice. Pick the classic endless run, or a scenario that sets the era, starting capital, reputation and a set of pre-unlocked languages and frameworks — «Garage Startup 1984», «Dot-com Boom 1999», «Recession 2008» or «Mobile Era 2010». Each card shows what you get before you commit.
  • Scenario goals: a scenario sets its own targets — company funds, team size, office tier or mastering a language — each with a bronze, silver and gold mark. Your overall medal is the weakest tier you hold, so no single goal can be neglected.
  • Deadline and result: reach the goals before the scenario's deadline. Bronze counts the moment you hit it, your medal can still climb until the deadline, and a result screen sums up every goal. Afterwards the game continues as an endless run.

Improvements

  • Scenario starting capital now follows the difficulty and the era. Later scenarios begin with a budget that matches their decade instead of a 1980s purse, and harder difficulties get more of it — the challenge stays in the deadlines and bug rates.
  • A scenario now shows its own goals on the Goals screen. Previously a mid-era start was measured against the era milestones, which a game beginning in 1999 or later could never complete.
  • The chosen scenario and your medal are kept in the save file.

Modding

  • The Mod Editor builds full scenarios: description, position in the list, a goal with all three tiers, and a deadline year.
